The resort was created by architect and artist Mom Tri, a descendant of King Rama IV. Eight years ago, Mom Tri provided guests access to his private summer home. Forty suites offer a setting of peace and serenity with its authentic Thai art and antiques, scenic ocean views, and abundant tropical gardens.

    The Villa Royale offers twelve types of suites, including those with a private pool. One can find a saltwater swimming pool landscaped into the rocks along the beach, as well as two freshwater pools. Deluxe units includes cable television. Ocean View rooms are located closer to the beach and over a great ocean view. Though smaller in size, they offer the privacy of an open-air lounge. Finally, the Mini Suite contains a small separate sitting room, its own cloakroom, and a large private sundeck.
